Re: Pakistan airforce advanced block 50/52+
These F16s are a beauty, I think they give PAF an edge.
Look at the jammer on that plane.
F16 vs Su30... now that will be some fight.

Re: Pakistan airforce advanced block 50/52+
What is the difference between the Block 52 and Block60 F16?
And what is special about the F16IN which Lokheed says will make it super?
Is there anything so? Or its an eye wash.
I Think F18 would be better for MRCA.

Re: Pakistan airforce advanced block 50/52+
F16IN(slightly upgraded version of bkl60) would be having AESA radar nd better avionics
F16Blk 52 lacks AESA nd CFT's
blk52+ nd higher versions can be fitted with CFT's

Paki Blk 50/52's comes with CFT. Blk 60 is better than the blk 50/52 mainly in avionics and radars. All electronic systems of Blk60 are newer versions.

Re: Pakistan airforce advanced block 50/52+
Wooo... Thats one expensive shopping list.
If Pak gets it then it would be a big trouble for India. Are they getting the AIM120 or its a proposol as of now. Last I read was that AIM120 has been cleared for PAF .

Re: Pakistan airforce advanced block 50/52+
Well they get special discount from Uncle Sam so its expensive. AIM-120D is going to be a big concern for the IAF thats the reason i support the MiG-35 to win the MRCA because it comes with R-77M1 which has a range of 175kms.

Comparison of IAF with PAF
Comparative crash rate of both AF's Pride.
PAF has lost 9 F-16's during 26 years of its service bring the crash rate to 0.35 aircraft lost per year.
IAF has lost 2 Su-30's during 13 years of service bringing the crash rate to 0.15 aircrafts lost per year.

Re: Pakistan airforce advanced block 50/52+
But PAF produce more Flying hours on F-16s World record of 100,000 Accident free flying hours.
SU-30MKI needs 32 hours of maintainance for one hour of flying.

Re: Pakistan airforce advanced block 50/52+
Whats a big deal with that, IAF operated Su-30's for 12 years without any accidents and flight hours of IAF is certainly higher than that of PAF because of deeper pockets.
You were proven stupid on 32 hrs claim in the community, go read those post once again if you have forgotten.

Re: Pakistan airforce advanced block 50/52+
You don't even know when Su-30MKI were inducted in IAF and you making false claims 12/13 years.
The first Su-30MKI were delivered by IAPO on June 22, 2002 aboard an An-124. 2 more followed in the same month. The first batch of 10 Su-30MKIs were inducted into the Indian Air Force on 27-Sep-2002 at Lohegaon AFS where the No. 20 Lightnings was constituted.
