Sukhoi 35BM--Deadliest air superiority fighter

Single-seat multi-functional super-maneuverable fighter.

New engines with all-aspect TVC nozzle and thrust of 14,500 kg are installed on the air-craft. The inner fuel capacity is increased and the aircraft can carry two external fuel tanks with 2,000 liters capacity. The aircraft is equipped with the new Integrated digital aircraft con-trol system (ICS) carried out the functions of Fly-by-wire and Automatic Flight Control systems, Signal limiting system and Air Data System, and Landing Gear Wheel Braking Control System. The aircraft boasts of new avionics with the use of multiplex communication links, and phased array radar. Wide-angle colour head-up display and two large-format colour MFDs form the aircraft indication system. Due to the cockpit lightening equipment the pilot can use night vision goggle.

Still it will be smoked by any aircraft with stealth. Beating these stealth birds in dogfights is irrelevant now. No matter how manoveurable the Su-35BM is, it will be Amraam and sidewinder fodder

Stealth planes would always have that advantage but there is no stealth aircraft except F22, the production of which has been stopped to 187. Sukhoi is trying to increase its sale in the market which is dominated by non stealth aircraft.

So first you sell Su30MKI & now based on its success, Sukhoi wants to sell its version of Su27 which has the advanced features of Su30MKI (the avionics of Su30MKI is advanced thanks to french, Israeli and Indian components). And like Anup said in todays world of AMRAAM and sidewinder, its the avionics which would make the big difference. And with Su35BM what according to me Sukhoi is doing is, is that its proving to the world that Russians too have a good avionics. And Su35BM as a package is an aircraft worth buying.

It won't matter because IAF will not be buying. Remember that the last of MMRCA aircraft would be delivered by 2018-2019 and SU PAK FA? So even if they offer us F35 by 2020, its decent enough.
